IIA-LNCC Participates in NVIDIA GTC

NVIDIA GTC 2025, held from March 17 to 21 in San Jose, California, is one of the world's leading events dedicated to accelerated computing and artificial intelligence (AI). Bringing together over 25,000 in-person attendees and millions online, the event provided a platform for developers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the latest innovations in AI, deep learning, high-performance computing, and related fields.

The National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC) was present at the event, represented by its director, Fábio Borges de Oliveira. The participation aimed to strengthen international collaborations and foster strategic meetings with researchers and experts in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

In addition to the LNCC director, the LNCC Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIA-LNCC) was also represented by researcher Arthur Francisco Lorenzon (UFRGS), reinforcing Brazil's commitment to remaining at the forefront of AI and scientific computing research. The participation also focused on establishing strategic partnerships and keeping up with global technological trends, aligned with the initiatives of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), which is responsible for developing the guidelines of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA).
