By November, of the 54 structuring actions set out in the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA), 25 had already delivered results and 15 had been initiated. Among the actions already carried out are the upgrade of the Santos Dumont supercomputer and the call for proposals for National Institutes of Science and Technology. Information on the progress of the initiative is available on the monitoring dashboard, presented during the 4th meeting of the PBIA working group. The meeting took place on Tuesday (25) at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) in Brasília (DF).
During the meeting, it was also established that meetings will now be held every 60 days, rather than monthly. The next meeting will take place in January, when the report on the first year of the PBIA and the quarterly bulletins on the progress of the actions will be presented.
